GEORGIAN BAY SEA KAYAK SKILLS
Come away with us for four days on Beautiful Georgian Bay while you work to achieve Paddle Canada Skills Level One & ORCKA Coastal Level One. We have set up this program to run over five days, with four of the days spent on Georgian Bay. Leave early Friday morning and come home before the traffic on Monday! We will get together for a 3 hour pre trip meeting in the weeks before to discuss planning, equipment, menus, how to load a kayak, and how to safely transport a kayak. This will give participants a good foundation on what will be required for their days out on the Bay. Once out on the Bay we will work on the skills necessary to attain a Paddle Canada SK Level One & ORCKA Coastal Level One Certification. Previous Kayaking Experience is recommended with a suggested minimum of Paddle Canada Basic Sea Kayaking or ORCKA Flat water Sea kayaking, or equivalent.
Participants are responsible for their own personal gear, food, and camping equipment.
Maximum course size is six (Small Class Size, Instructor/Student ratio is 1:3)
